Nurse Practitioner Tina Solomito brings a wealth of experience, and lots of love and time for big kids, babies, and new parents, to Unionville Pediatrics.

Before joining the practice, Tina spent five years as a nurse at Bristol Hospital and five more as an APRN in both hospital and private practice settings. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Saint Joseph’s College of Maine and her Family Nurse Practitioner accreditation from Simmons College in Boston. 

Tina loves working with parents and children, and in addition to being a nurse, she’s also a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist (CBC). More than anything, she treasures watching little people grow and being able to collaborate with a team that values a family-first culture. 

Here are a few things you might not know about Tina:

• She would rather be on a tropical beach than just about anywhere

• If she gets deserted there, be sure to leave Cheese-Its, coffee, and sunscreen

• She loves baking and decorating cakes

• If she was a superhero, she would have teleportation powers!

Tina lives in Harwinton with her husband Matt, twin boys Sam and Luke, and daughter Emma.
